The original Crystal Palace FC was a pioneering club that helped set up the FA to create the rules of football. The team reached the semi-final of the FA Cup’s inaugural season and also supplied players for the early England internationals before disbanding in 1876. They played in blue and white jerseys, dark blue shorts and socks.
